What this initial release stores.
Saved schools, school comparisons, saved online courses, course comparisons, saved aviation articles, and the visit checklist use your browser’s local storage when available. This restores your shortlists, reading list, and progress on the same browser. It does not create an account or synchronize selections between devices. It is not submitted to FlightSchoolUS by these tools. You can clear it with the reset controls or your browser settings.
Search and calculator inputs.
Directory filters may appear in the page URL so searches can be revisited or shared. Avoid entering personal information in the directory search. Calculator values are processed in your browser; the tool does not ask for a name or email address and does not send a budget application.
Listing update worksheet.
The school update form creates a text file on your device. It does not transmit the form to a server, email a recipient, or automatically edit a listing. You can choose to email the downloaded worksheet to info@flightschoolus.com. Include only information relevant to the proposed correction.
Contacting FlightSchoolUS.
The contact page provides separate forms for general questions, listing corrections, and business inquiries. When you submit a form, the website processes the details you enter and sends them to info@flightschoolus.com so we can review and respond. The forms use a temporary session cookie to protect submissions and avoid repeated sending. Short-lived request counters help limit spam; the contact forms do not add messages to a database or save message content in browser storage. Our hosting and email services process the submission and correspondence. You may also email us directly. Please include only information relevant to your inquiry.
Google Analytics.
The production website is configured to use Google Analytics 4, measurement ID G-0REN6DHJKX, to understand website traffic and use. Google may use cookies and process information such as pages visited, referring pages, browser/device details and usage events. When the Google tag is available, a click on an active affiliate link sends an affiliate_click event with the provider, page placement and creative format. This custom event does not add names, email addresses, search text or full affiliate URLs. Directory searches can appear in page URLs; do not enter personal information in those searches. The private preview and local testing hosts do not load this tag.
Hosting and external services.
Alongside the Google Analytics installation described above, this site has no added advertising pixels, third-party fonts, embedded maps, or comment accounts. The hosting provider may process connection and request information such as IP addresses and URLs to operate and protect the service. Links to schools, official references, and suppliers open websites with their own privacy practices.
Affiliate links.
Active affiliate links identify FlightSchoolUS to the destination provider. The provider or affiliate network may use its own cookies or tracking technologies after you follow the link. Read the destination’s privacy information. Our affiliate disclosure identifies the active relationships and explains how the site may earn a commission.
Privacy questions.
Email info@flightschoolus.com with questions about this notice or information you have sent to us. Describe the relevant page, message, or concern so we can understand your request. The website contact form is another way to reach us. This notice describes the current website and should be revisited as its services change.
